The Great Gettin’-Up Morning

Woke up this morning and created a blog before I brushed my Pearly Whites, which are not so much either pearly or white. But the blog may help me come back to Life.

Here is the text of the acrostic: Periwinkles otter twinkles Ain’t Bea wrinkles–sweet/Perturbations of the ether tell the wormhole’s trait/Pacifiers paltrifying worry-warts–not great/Endothermic flareups make a Harper’s day complete/Egomania occludes–don’t hire an old comptesse/Axes grind these systems down–they injure on that basis/Antifreeze your quaint chagrin to ease homeostasis/Artificiality still creeps in nonetheless

Questions? Comments? Denunciations? All are welcome.

My hope is that weekly or oftener I’ll post one of my creative works or works-in-progress, and keep myself energized and growing as an artist/poet. Time will tell.

Ouf, finally backup up all the way to the beginning! Now I can go back towards the end in a more leisurely way, in a linear narrative, which will no doubt satisfy some deeply Cartesian portion of my brain. Or perhaps no; i’ll just keep on skipping, which seems much more appropriate and will be just as satisfying to others parts of my cerebrum.

The texture around the toothbrush looks just like textures obtained with toothbrushes and dry media. Has the instrument served a dual purpose????? Let’s hope it was after the maintenance, or you might have been sporting pearly greens…

Michel, I am flattered that you, such a schematically talented fellow, should use my blog as a vehicle to get back to your Cartesian roots (not to put Descartes before the horse) (not that you haven’t heard that one before). That texture was created by first laying down a tone using the pencil edge, and then making little circular patterns on it with an ordinary pencil eraser.

I’ve had a look at some of your Ebert-related drawings. The one of Randy M. is EPIC! I hope you shared it with him and with Roger.

    Hi Gary,
I do my puns and socializing in french mostly, so I didn’t know the Descartes one; LOL. Glad you liked the drawings. I find them rather dry myself, but that’s the way they come out. Actually, I think i’m using your delightful blog to get Away from my Cartesian roots, very invasive things they are!

I don’t know how to post images or direct messages to Roger, and my website didn’t support comments properly (until yesterday night, when I added that function,( hidden way down in a sub menu), after you kindly left a word, sparking my interest). I did include a link once on Roger’s Club pages, but nobody commented, so I don’t know.
