Other Cages, Other Walls

It is not a new idea that we are all prisoners in our own skulls, nor that walls by their nature keep some would-be invaders out and also keep the wall-builders in. Ecclesiastes says both “There is nothing new under the sun” and “all IS Vanity.” The newness is in observation of current conditions that uniquely apply.
