Recently the United Nations General Assembly had visitors, youngsters bringing ancient wisdom and youthful defiance. They challenged the status-quoed representatives of countries who were continuing to despoil the Earth. It was magnificent. Mesdemoiselles Peltier and Thunberg were particularly fine.

I hope the wisdom turns into action. It is as “almost too late” as can be.

Thanks so much, Jen. The UN visit was a breath of fresh air, in more ways than one. Here’s hoping we act on the message!
I expect there will be some reaction from a lot of people for a short time. It might just be one of those quotable moments in history. or like attending a once in a life time theatrical production, once it’s done it’s never to be replicated again. I hope you’re right and the air stays fresh. History tells us of those who, for better or worse, were not listened to and the world suffered in consequence. ie Hitler Sorry. We watch and listen, but do we learn.
