it is march, it’s the first/so let us now burst/right out of the sprung starting gate

and march with elan/and gusto and brawn/against all the forces of hate

to take back the senate/is vital now when it/enables this evil regime

and also the house/oust the speaker, that mouse/who has made his dictator’s eyes gleam.

..

we’ll need plenty of moxie/ourselves, not a proxy/applying epoxy and salve

so let’s march and reseize/and thus cure the disease/that afflicts all we live for and have.

..

Historical note: We have American casualties now, in the unauthorized war on Iran, and the blood of more than half a hundred schoolgirls is on our hands. As an American I am filled with shame and anger. We need to find our way, the TRUE American Way, again.

regime change is a tricky biz

its motivation far trickier

for the man who cannot keep his mushroom

unshuttered

is now playing with his other toys

including the lives of soldiers

and bombs and other bibi guns

playing with firepower and fire

playing like a gambler

who will not quit

until he has lost

it all

The Seahawks gave astonishing defense

Sweet Brandi sang the words of K.L. Bates

Bad Bunny’s big bravura was intense

And Green Day called out idiots. Hey, mates:

Here is the true America revealed,

Diversity, inclusion, protest, strength,

And energy for mindful souls to wield

And let true Freedom ring at awesome length.

Refreshing, isn’t it? Continue, saga,

With pendulums of peace swung back this way,

A neighborhood complete with Lady Gaga

And fellowship the order of the day.

The takeaway is sweet, the songs anthemic,

A cure for our mean-spirited pandemic.

with some ugly strokes of the pen

a guy who helped hamas launder millions skates

dozens of violent protesters skate

defrauders not only skate, but get to keep the money defrauded from the victims

all this from a joker who has intoned

“LAW…AND…ORDER…” over and over and over

..

pardon my skepticism

pardon my disgust

for i do not pardon the stink of corruption

when senator alex padilla was thrown to the ground

for “failing to identify himself” (he had just said his name)

and “elevating his voice” (it was crowded and noisy)

upon the “remove him!” command

of a dog- and goat-shooting favor-curryer

and handcuffed and thug-handled away

from the field of play,

the senator’s attempt to ask a question

was thwarted with extreme prejudice.

the administration was protesting

the senator’s existence.

the incidents of undue process

upticked by one.

an “administrative error” booted a man out

but this mistake is not going to be set right

not if he has his way

.

last time round he was like

“hey, obama got to kill a guy”

“i wanna kill a guy”

and so one of iran’s military heroes

was droned out of existence

.

he partners with a murderer of a journalist

and now phil mickelson

has golfed for murderers

and taken their blood money

.

tariffs and drone strikes and bribes

o my

stock market insider trades o my

warrantless immigrant raids o my

having his way with us all o my

.

boys and their toys

make mayhem and noise

some never grow up

some never feel guilty

.

did you vote for him?

you are either sorry or not sorry

if you are sorry renounce him

reduce his crowd size

he is powerless without his mob

cease to be his mob

.

if you are not sorry

then you are beyond redemption

and i invite you to go to hell

where you will fit right in

Buy all the Golly that you want,

It only costs a Hum.

Buy Gosh, buy Jove, and preen and flaunt,

But please do not buy Gum.

Don’t buy from Target, Mickey Dee’s,

Nor Wal-Mart. You can shop

To heart’s content, and Jesus please,

At stores of Mom and Pop.

Today we flex consumer muscle

And howl like baying bassets

To stop the Greed Beasts in mid-hustle

And kick them in the Assets.

.

Historical note: Today, February 28, 2025, is a day of boycotting protests. All who wish to make a tangible statement about the unfair distribution of wealth are urged not to spend any money anywhere but at minority and/or locally owned “Mom&PIP” establishments. Vote with your Pocketbooks, Friends!!

sweet-talk may compel us to beguilingly do things/we did not intend to do

but sourtalk has given us a new old old president

who told us “if you elect that other guy it will lead to world war three”

and “if you elect that new gal it will lead to world war three”

and “I’M not a threat to Democracy, SHE’S a threat to Democracy”

and though he’s lied thirty thousand times

it seems we are always willing to give the poor guy who’s been castigated ever since he came down that golden escalator/and gave up his billionaire lifestyle and his presidential salary for us

a second (to the 30,000th power) chance

and many of us secretly like it when people get away with really bad stuff

we made heroes of bonnie and clyde, after all

.

but all that sourtalk has warped his face

i mean, LOOK at him

he looks like he has a mouthful of lemon juice

All my adult life I have been getting come-ons/For credit for timeshares for one-time-only offers

That are focused on my deservedness

“Here’s your new credit limit./You earned it. Take that vacation/You always wanted.

“You owe it to yourself.”

Sounded good/But had I read the fine print on the back/And the APR (Annual Percentage Rate) of 29.2%

I would have concluded/That I owed it to myself/To flee earnestly

I learned my lesson/But apparently the electorate did not/And voted for president a proxy/To fulfill their basest desires

He will kick ass and take names/For lists for future ass-kickings

He will purge his land of the shithole rabble

He will take additional steps to ensure that his will/IS The Will of the People

Or else!

And a vast army of REAL Thugs/Slavers to do his bidding

And the Bible he defiled and sold

Says

“Verily, they shall have their reward.”
